About VR Prime
Sing out and be part of a musical experience that appeals to senior singers in the Greater Toronto Area.
It is our belief that singing in a community helps in a myriad of ways for seniors that may be experiencing the isolation and lack of community that growing older can entail. Singing has been known to stretch the memory, release endorphins and create joy!
Singing has been proven to help with cognitive function, psycho-social health, as well as improves interest in life and a relief from loneliness.
Our senior choir embraces inclusiveness, community, immense fun and excellence in music. Our repertoire includes rock and pop from the 50’s/60’s and up.
We have two sessions in a season, both culminating with a rock concert at stellar venues, accompanied by a live band. We are a non-auditioned choir welcoming new senior members.
